Figtree Veterinary Clinic seeks a full-time or part-time Trainee Veterinary Nurse to join our small team of diverse, passionate & supportive people. Located in Lane Cove on the Lower North Shore, we maintain a loyal and returning client base, many of which are insured, enabling us to offer and provide gold-standard care and refer cases to our surrounding specialist hospitals with whom we have close relationships. About You

  • Certificate II or III in Veterinary Nursing plus at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the veterinary industry is desirable.

  • Career goal is aimed at working towards their Certificate IV

  • Enjoys a challenge and a busy workload.

  • Computer literate (Rx works experience is advantageous but not necessary)

  • Committed and flexible with shifts

  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and follow protocols

  • Dedicated to embracing our clinic culture and values

  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to completing their veterinary nursing studies

  • Does not require sponsorship.

  • In-house diagnostics- digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasonography

  • Limited reception duties as required.

Clinic opening hours

Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Closed Saturday & Sunday and public holidays- all emergencies referred to local emergency centres.
