Fiona graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004. Since then she has worked in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. She has a Masters of Veterinary Medicine degree which she studied through Massey University in New Zealand. For this degree she studied Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging and Avian Medicine. She is particularly interested in birds and the topic of her dissertation was blood transfusions in birds infected with Avian Malaria. In her spare time she enjoys bushwalking and bird watching
